We are a community based, committee run charitable preschool, offering wraparound care and early years education for children from their second birthday up to starting school. We also offer a home from home setting for school holiday club, breakfast club and after school club

Preschool

We follow the EYFS curriculum with a child led program of activities in which our young people are supported to follow their interests and develop independence.We have a wonderful outdoor space with covered play area, mud kitchen, sand pit and race track and even a piano and music area!Inside we have a free flow open plan space with zones for children to enjoy dressing up and role play, small world play, a water zone, malleable area and a calm area with reading zone. We have an extensive library and children are encouraged to borrow books.Preschool sessions are09:00 - 11:30
12:30 - 15:00Lunch is 11:30 -12:30, with the choice of a preschool lunch or bring your own packed lunch. We also have snack time during the morning and afternoon sessions where children develop fine motor skills and co operation skills as they prepare and share snacks. We also have regular baking sessions - a real favourite!

Holiday Club

Our Holiday Club is open to everyone aged 2-11! There is no requirement to attend Playtimes Preschool or Spaldwick Primary Primary School - we look forward to meeting you!Each morning and afternoon we offer a new themed activity, ranging from baking, crafting, and science experiments to nature and garden based activities. Children are welcome to join in with these or pursue their own interests among the wide range of toys, games and craft activities available . Breakfast and snacks are included in the cost of sessions.We offer a range of options from booking full days or weeks, to booking by the hour (min 3 hours) to suit your schedule.

Breakfast and After School club

Our Breakfast Club is open from 8am and offers children attending Playtimes Preschool or Spaldwick Primary School a healthy breakfast and a relaxed start to the day.Our After School Club - S Club - provides a homely environment for children to play after school. We offer a range of pick up times up to 6 pm and a hot meal of the day.
